Tracks B.C. and High Prairie Outfitters Ltd. are owned and operated by Guide Outfitter Gary Drinkall and his wife Monique, along with their partners Blaine and Sherry Trenholm.

Gary grew up in the outfitting business starting from a young age when his family purchased a stone sheep area back in 1982, working for the family owned outfitting business and other outfitters from around the country from his early teens untill his mid 20’s. At a young age he purchased his own outfitting business in Alberta. Gary then sold his areas in Alberta and moved with his family and wife Monique to the Lone Prairie Valley near Chetwynd to continue in the cattle ranching industry. It was not long before the outfitting bug caught up with him and when the opportunity arose to guide and outfit in British Columbia he took it starting Tracks B.C. and taking over High Prairie Outfitters with his partner Blaine.

Blaine also from a very young age grew up in the outfitting business. With his uncle Elbon Hochsteiner being an outfitter in the southern area of British Columbia, Blaine would guide for elk, moose, goat, deer, black bear and cougar. He then moved up into the north central area of BC to partner up in an area that offered moose, grizzly and black bear. Moving to the Chetwynd in 1985 to work in the logging industry is where he met his wife Sherry and moved to Lone Prairie to cattle ranch.

Being involved in the ranching industry has been a great asset to our guide outfitting business. We know the land owners and they have great knowledge of where the animals are and how they move on such properties. This is one reason we hire ranchers as our guides.
